An unofficial Ruby on Rails mailing list

In addition to the official Rails mailing list ([signup here](http://lists.rubyonrails.org/mailman/listinfo/rails)), there’s also an [unofficial Google Groups Rails mailing list](http://groups.google.com/group/rubyonrails). For now, the unofficial group seems to have fewer users and messages than the official one, so if you’re looking for some help, you may not get lost in the noise.

Plus, there’s also the #rubyonrails IRC channel ([connection info here](http://wiki.rubyonrails.com/rails/pages/IRC)) which can be a handy place to get a solution to your problem.
