Running Background Jobs in Rails

Highgroove just posted a great article on how to run background jobs in Rails using either RailsCron or Backgroundrb. They chose Backgroundrb for their Railsday app Heartbeat.

I haven’t checked out all the Rails day apps but of the ones I did, I thought their idea and execution was great. At any rate, head over to clean air, their blog to read more about background jobs.
