Chris from Err just posted some slides and a new plugin for working with memcached. The plugin is as simple as adding acts_as_cached in the model.

Topfunky has also covered memcached basics. I posted about his memcached intro last month.

So go check out Chris’s post and if you don’t read the comments, here’s another memcache improvement by John Evans. I really like his addition of using a block with Cache.get.
